Campuzano - this is our go-to casual Tex-Mex spot, and where we had our first date! (these may be the best margs in town)

Oishii - the best sushi in Dallas!!

Beverely's - a neighborhood staple for us.

Doce Mesas - another neighborhood staple - the (second) best margs and taco salads!

Green Point - upscale seafood, the tuna tartar on toast is unbelievably good!

Zizikis - amazing Greek food, and a great brunch served family-style.

Avanti - great Italian food and can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

Goodwin's - a new favorite for us (RIP Blue Goose - gone but not forgotten!)

Chelsea Corner - great daytime spot and patio (dog friendly!)

Il Bracco - the spicy gemelli is so good!

Here are some other fun activities we enjoy!

Walk the Katy Trail - we usually get on at the Knox entrance - the neighborhood is full of cute shops, and you can find street parking on Abbott or Travis.

Visit the Dallas Museum of Art or the Perot Museum - both are fantastic museums! If you've never been to the Perot, it's worth a visit if you have time. The earthquake simulator is great! The Nasher Sculpture Center is also popular and its exhibits are unique and cool.

Stroll through the Dallas Arboretum - the flowers are always gorgeous, and the Arboretum is the best on a beautiful day! You can't go wrong. Pop over to Smokey Rose for great BBQ afterwards!

Explore Highland Park Village or Northpark Mall - Highland Park Village is great vibes with upscale designer shopping. Northpark has everything you could ever need and more!
